Digital and Intelligent Agriculture Leading the Future! Official Release of the 2022 'Seven Hundreds' of Digital Agriculture


Recently, the 21st Guangdong Seed Industry Conference and the 2022 World Digital Agriculture Conference, hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, opened in Guangzhou, with the theme "Strengthening the Core, Leading the Future with Digitalization."


As a leading domestic developer of intelligent fruit sorting equipment, Deltron Intelligence made a remarkable impression during the online release of the 2022 Digital Agriculture 'Seven Hundreds' achievements, with two of its innovations being selected.

The 'Seven Hundreds' benchmark cases encompass "100 advanced digital agriculture technologies, 100 advanced digital agriculture devices, 100 digital agriculture experts, 100 new digital farmers, 100 leading digital agriculture enterprises, 100 digital agriculture demonstration bases, and 100 replicable and scalable digital agriculture models."


This event highlighted what digital agriculture is, how it works, and how to achieve success, expanding perspectives and sharing experiences to collectively promote the modernization of agriculture in China. Gathering cutting-edge technologies, industry leaders, and top experts from around the world, this benchmark initiative aims to contribute innovative forces toward advancing global agricultural digitalization.


Deltron Intelligence's 'AIOT-Based Intelligent Robot for Non-Destructive Sorting of Internal and External Quality of Fruits and Vegetables' was selected as one of the 100 advanced digital agriculture devices. This equipment addresses challenges in the visual detection of diseases, defects, regional differences, and fruit size distribution in various fruit types. It has successfully enhanced the accuracy of mathematical models for disease detection and improved AI visual calibration for fruit size accuracy.


The system is equipped with visual, internal quality, and weighing modules, supporting multi-channel and multi-device architectures. With solutions designed for sorting dozens of fruit varieties, it achieves an external defect detection accuracy of 97% and internal quality detection accuracy of 95%. The configuration allows customization of sorting solutions based on physical properties, external defects, and internal quality attributes to meet client-specific needs.


Additionally, Deltron Intelligence was recognized as one of the '100 Leading Digital Agriculture Enterprises.' As the first company in China to fully develop intelligent modules in-house, Deltron leads the industry in cloud-based data integration, providing a business intelligence management platform and developing a user-friendly, expandable human-machine interaction system.

Utilizing technologies like visual imaging, weight sensors, and near-infrared sensors, combined with algorithmic analysis, the equipment models the internal and external characteristics of fruits and vegetables. This allows for non-destructive identification of surface color, defects, weight, size, and internal qualities such as sweetness and disease, all while enabling autonomous sorting operations.


This equipment has already been deployed in key fruit-producing regions, including Guangxi, Yunnan, Hubei, Xinjiang, and Shandong, aiding in the upgrading of the fruit industry.


At the 2022 World Digital Agriculture Conference, FAO Representative in China, Carlos Watson, remarked that "Digital technology can bring further economic, social, and environmental impacts, driving the transformation of our agri-food systems and lifting millions out of poverty while ensuring food security."
